Creation of the X wing

X wing

Creation of the work area
To creat the X wings Fuslarge i use the spline tool extruded it and then use the intersection tool in oprate B to create the shape for the midel. it was kinda tricky at first to work out how it worked but the finaly i got a good resultl afer playing round with it a bit.

Creation of the Fuslarge
To create the wing i used the spline tool and rotated it to the possion i wanted. when i was done i set about creating the engines and photon torpedos. to create the engines i used a serries of cillinders. The photon torpedos were created in much the same way useing a verity of cillierical shapes.

Finaly when the wing was complete i use the mirro tool to create a all 4 wings the same shape and size. I feel that the X-wing was a simple model but it turn out very well. The only piece if found difficult was the intersetion but after playing with it a bit i figered it out.

Creation of the AT-ST

AT-ST

AT-ST
I started with a Creating the cockpit of the at-st. I use the spline tool to trace the midel were i then extruded it. i then traced the rased bits from the front image and added them tot he side of the cock pit. this was fairly easy to get a good linkness as i had use the spline tool.

I then created the leg useing The box tool to create place holder shapes wich i then went back to and removed and replaced with splined replicas in the correct shape. The legs were fairly simple to make due to the fact that they were all just thin lines. For the joins i used the cillinder tool and created a leg gard useing the spline tool. Finaly the bolts that appear to hold it togerther are made useing the Cilinder tool. The Guns were made using Cone tool, Cilliners. When i was done creating one side fully i then mirroed it over to that i had a complet model.

Creation of a Tie Figher

Tie Fighter

The Wing after Lathe modifer
Lathe Modifer on a spline tool to create the wing and half a cock put of the tie fighter. The problem i found with this is that the spline was hollow meaning if your use the boolian tool on it then it would create a shell.

The cockpit before being cut
The Cockpit ater being cut
I then used the boolain to create a cock pint shape use a spher this was dificult becasue the object became hollow unlike other shapes for the creation pannel.

I then added a spher to the midel of the cut out hole and use the boolian intersection tool to create a hole of the pilot to sit. When it was fnished i added a gun and wing braces to the model along with a screen of glass. The glass was challening due to the fact i need it to rotate round in a circal. When it was done i added vents to the wings. Finaly i used the mirror tool to create the finnished product.

Creation of Blood Angel Rhino

Origanal Refrence metrial

Blood Angel Rhino

I created a Rhino From the Warhammer 40k Univers As my vehical. I used the refrence metail from a sisters of battle rhino.

Rhino in Early stages
I started off useing the spline tool to  make the chasee. This was supprisingly easy as the rino is based around one main compenent. I used the auto grid tool and traced the spline tool around the features that would extrude. I then moved them round to the main chasee. I did have some problems when useing the spline tool in that it would shift were i created the points after i moved my mouse i started to get jagged shapes this was a very frustraitng error that i was unable to fix

Half a Side of a Rhino
I started to tace out more shapes and rotate and place them on to the side of the Rhino this i feel went well and made it look very much like the real thing. I did have an isue with the cutting out of the Driver view ports. i used the boolian tool to do this but i count seem to make the indentation stand out very much.

Creation of the tank tracks
Finished product

Next I crated the tank tracks i started by creating one tooth of the track and then followed by copying it and rotating it to fit in all of the other slots. once this was done i use the cube tool to create the links bettween the teeth. This I felt looked good. once i created one set of links i then copyed it over to creat the links on the other side of the track. I use the cillender tool to create the wheels for the tacks duplicating them to be on both sides. i felt the tank tracks went very well and look good.

Final i added lights and mirro copyed it over to the over side join the two together. I was increadbly pleased with this model and i think it was one of my best models so far.

Creation Of FPS(first person shooter) Village

FPS Village

My 3D FPS village
I started of creating just a single house useing the cube tools. I gave it struts, doors, windows and stairs. I felt that the house come out really well.

Front View showing the Walls and gate
Next I created A wall useing the cube tool. followed by the hose tool to create a barbed wire effect. I then mass copyed the wall in orded to get the same shape for all of the wall segments. this went well i feel due to the fact that the walls all look the same and give a generic blockaid feel to them. I also created a gate so that the diffrent sides of the model stand out

In the midel you can see market stalls

to create the market stalls i made box out cubes rotated it, and then added legs to it. I created melons and other fruits by added spheres i created lots of them. I then copyed the stall 4 times then used the mirror tool to create the other side. I felt the the market stalls were good models. Howe ever i did not feel the same way about the Roof of the stalls. I feel that it may look better if there were textures. Makeing it look more like corrigated iorn. I used the roof to create a more interia feel to the market.
Sand bags and fruit
I also created sand bags and moved them around the maps to create a less copy and paste feel to the map. I did this by takeing a champered cube and placeing it on top each other with roations.
